2Ivar Stenberg made Swedens roster. He’s a lock for a top 5 pick in June.

3Blues 6th round pick from this year’s draft Love Harenstam is one of Sweden’s 3 goalies.
...but whatever, the Blues won the Cup!!!!!
Re: 2025 WJC
4I think with a strong showing he could lock up the #2 pick. Assuming a team isn't defensive hungry in the 2 spot.NHLTIM wrote: Fri Dec 05, 2025 1:33 pm Ivar Stenberg made Swedens roster. He’s a lock for a top 5 pick in June.

Re: 2025 WJC
5Definitely could go #2…just depends who’s picking in that slot. Some GM’s will have a hard time passing on Verhoeff but if the Blues are sitting at #2, you can bet they will be drafting Stenberg. Personally I like Belchetz at this point…I have him at #2 right now.Dread_Pirate_Westley wrote: Fri Dec 05, 2025 2:42 pmI think with a strong showing he could lock up the #2 pick. 6Hard to dislike 6'5 6'6 wingers who can score. Especially one's that realize they are 6'5 and throw it around.NHLTIM wrote: Sat Dec 06, 2025 8:17 amDefinitely could go #2…just depends who’s picking in that slot. This draft is very much not a top pick or bust kind of draft. There's definitely many intriguing "consolation" prizes to losing the McKenna sweepstakes.

8Surprising but it is also a very loaded team. Roger McQueen didn't make it either.
Got to believe Carbs is one of the top injury replacements.

11Yeah, I don't care about that. I just wanted to see him against higher competition than what he's currently facing to see how he does. Always more fun to watch the games when a future Blue is playing.Dave's a mess wrote: Mon Dec 08, 2025 10:49 amThe good news is getting pissed off can do wonders for a prospect's development.Dread_Pirate_Westley wrote: Mon Dec 08, 2025 10:33 am Surprising but it is also a very loaded team. Re: 2025 WJC
19Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas! And now a Happy WJC day to those who celebrate.
Really excited to watch Jiricek this tournament. He has taken a huge leap forward after injury plagued years slowed his delvelopment and looks like a legit top pairing guy in the future. I was writing him off and I was wrong.
Blues 6th rounder Love Haremstam has a shot to start as Sweden's goalie.
Disappointed Carbo didn't make it for Canada but it is what it is. Hopefully Jircek and the Jecho can start Canada off on a sour note tonight.
Dec. 26
Sweden vs. Slovakia; Noon., NHLN, TSN
Denmark vs. Finland; 2:30 p.m. NHLN, TSN
Germany vs. United States; 5 p.m., NHLN, TSN
Canada vs. Czechia; 7:30 p.m., NHLN, TSN

23Ah yes, yet another hockey even that cord cutters have no ability to watch, as the network isn't available to subscribe to outside of a TV provider. Brilliant.
These fucking tards just cannot stop falling on their faces. Nuke the whole front office from orbit and start over.

24When you cancel TV services you're going to be missing out on being able to watch some things. But there are a couple of "cord cutter" services that have NHL network as well.T.C. wrote: Fri Dec 26, 2025 11:11 am Ah yes, yet another hockey even that cord cutters have no ability to watch, as the network isn't available to subscribe to outside of a TV provider.
