2The last time Fabbri took part in a Blues-Preds game was February 26, 2019. The Blues won 2-0 to further cement their spot as the 3 seed in the playoffs after being dead last on January 1 or whatever it was. The Blues outshot the first place Predators 44-19. Tyler Bozak scored with about 6 minutes left with assists from Tarasenko and Pietrangelo. Petro added an empty netter with 4 seconds left. Binnington recorded his 5th shutout of the year, 4th in the month of February, and 3rd in his last 6 games.
...but whatever, the Blues won the Cup!!!!!

4Stamkos taking it back to 2012 with four goals through 2.
Fuck all of these players. The loser point is disguising the fact that this is clearly a bottom five team in the league. It's obvious to anyone subjecting themselves to watching even part of these games.

5Between the team underachieving, the broadcast absolutely sucking, and the organization repeatedly giving its fans the middle finger as they try to bring in every unlikable hockey player to ever wear skates, I’ve had a very easy time just not watching this year. I popped the game on when it was 1-0, stuck around through Vitale and Kerber speaking absolute nonsense for a few minutes, and turned it off after the Preds scored their second. I never would have done that a couple years ago. Now I do something similar every game.Oates2Hullie450 wrote: Thu Dec 11, 2025 8:53 pm Stamkos taking it back to 2012 with four goals through 2.

7It's a very easy team to not go out of your way to watch. Never thought I'd miss Jamie Rivers but man Vitale is just a tough listen.Dave's a mess wrote: Thu Dec 11, 2025 9:53 pmBetween the team underachieving, the broadcast absolutely sucking, and the organization repeatedly giving its fans the middle finger as they try to bring in every unlikable hockey player to ever wear skates, I’ve had a very easy time just not watching this year. 8I'm starting to think this team has some severe financial issues.
Re: GDT: St Louis Blues @ Nashville - 7:00 12/11
9I've wondered about that the last few years, but if Stillman was in trouble, he probably would've sold the team already. The Senators sold for just under $1 billion 2 years ago and the Coyotes/Mammoth sale valued the team at $1.2 billion. Given that Stillman bought the team for $130 million, if he needed to cash out he could make out quite well. At the same time, that doesn't mean they're flush with cash on hand. The corners cut on the broadcast aren't a great sign of financial health, but I guess we'll see as the cap rises.BluesSK wrote: Fri Dec 12, 2025 8:10 am I'm starting to think this team has some severe financial issues.

10Three home playoff games in 3 years will never be good for the books. Well on their way to 3 in 4 years.BluesSK wrote: Fri Dec 12, 2025 8:10 am I'm starting to think this team has some severe financial issues.

11Incredible investment. It should have been me but my bid of 2 thousand dollars came up short.Dave's a mess wrote: Fri Dec 12, 2025 9:01 amI've wondered about that the last few years, but if Stillman was in trouble, he probably would've sold the team already. 12Kind of funny that from what I've heard of the eye test and from this, Fabbri was the teams best player.

13Stillman and the ownership group could sell the team and make a healthy profit but I'm pretty sure that would be bye-bye St Louis Blues and I'm guessing they don't want to do that.Dave's a mess wrote: Fri Dec 12, 2025 9:01 amI've wondered about that the last few years, but if Stillman was in trouble, he probably would've sold the team already. So until that happens they are going to cut a costs until the playoff revenue helps things out again.
