I’m old enough to remember when every OT was like that. Damn coaches ruin everything.
Great save but still too gimmicky for my liking. The constant skate into the zone, skate out of the zone with the puck. It's not Hockey! It's a cul de sac pick up game!

No argument here, but I’d rather watch the exciting version of 3 on 3 than the boring one. They’re both gimmicks.
...but whatever, the Blues won the Cup!!!!!

They’ve been crippled by injuries including Mathew’s, but yeah the vultures have to be circling Berube.
There is no injury crippling enough to justify being passed by the Sabres in the standings. I think Berube will be fine the rest of the year as long as they don't stay in last place.

haha fair but I don't know man...look at these lines they are running out there. I would say most avid NHL fans couldn't tell you the first name of their bottom 9 forwards

Woof... that is rough.

Is that Dakota Joshua on their 2nd line!?

I can name Sammy Blais, Max Domi, and Calle Jarnkrok...I couldn't name their top line RW either..
Hey, it's what it's.

So close! That's actually Tie Domi, that's how far down the depth they have had to go.

That made me laugh.

They threw a lot of money at Dakota Joshua. :?

The Berube experiment there will not last much longer there.

That’s insane. Up 2 games to none against the Panthers last year and up 2-0 going into the 3rd period of Gm 3. So close yet so far.

Who would've thought that was possible when he only played 67/184 games from 2010-12 thanks to Joe Thornton? Congrats to Perron.
He's really had an amazing career.

Overage draft pick. Only one year in Major Junior hockey after one year of Triple A and never spent a day in the minors. A three time and hopefully four time St. Louis Blue before he hangs it up.

Yeah, posted about them a day or so ago. ONE loss on the year. Like HOW? It looks like a typo
They've been a scary contender for the past 5-7 years or whatever it's been, but now they're just operating at a crazy level. They're led by one of the biggest hockey psyocopaths (complimentary) in recent memory in MacKinnon, and have the best defenseman of his generation in Makar. Their goalie tandem is Scott Wedgewood and MacKenzie Blackwood, yet somehow they look like a Hasek/Roy tandem. I haven't watched them much yet this year, but I assume the secret sauce is just that they have the puck ALL THE TIME. Seems like a good recipe, but rather difficult against teams full of NHL players.

I know you know all that, but it's just wild.

Yeah, that goalie tandem only losing 1 seems absurd, POSSIBLY a playoff collapse candidate though?

Also Cale Makar should just go on a Nicky Lidstrom type Norris run.
