29If Calgary beats Philly today the Blues will be tied for last in the league, 2 points clear of the next closest team.

32Blues are in kind of a weird spot. Usually when you have a team playing this poorly and underachieving this much, people are calling for someone's job. But they aren't going to fire Army, he's stepping down anyway and Steen is already there. Monty isn't going anywhere. So what can you actually do?
Do you look to make a trade? It's a tough time in the season to pull off some big move if you're looking to break this core up. Kyrou would be the obvious one because it doesn't matter he's the teams leading point scorer and likely been their best player, a large swath of fans still hate him. But who around the league can just take on that contract right now salary cap wise.
It just feels like this team is stuck and going to have to figure it out with the group in place.

33lol just as I posted about what can this team do, they make a trade. Albeit super minor and bringing back an old face. He has not played in the league since leaving St Louis a couple seasons ago

34Wes, please ask if the goalies are about to start making saves. You have to use this power for good.Dread_Pirate_Westley wrote: Mon Nov 03, 2025 7:59 am Blues are in kind of a weird spot. 36He's been injured. Think this is there way of getting him back in game shape and seeing if he can be a call up or if he's completely toast. I'd take him over Texier as our extra forward at this point

37If Dvorsky is up for good there's no room for him. Texier is gone when Neighbours gets back as it is.Dread_Pirate_Westley wrote: Tue Nov 04, 2025 9:55 amHe's been injured. Re: Blues 2025 Season thread
42Positive news is Carbo now has 19 goals on the season. He's starting to lap the field a bit as the next closest has 14.
Hard to imagine he won't be selected to team Canada for the WJC at this point.

We got away with it last season with the new coach bump but the inconsistency and apathy is back.
It's time to weed out the cancers.
Changes are coming. A few less line changes might be nice though.
Re: Blues 2025 Season thread
45I think it's important to move on from this core before these next wave of prospects continue to arrive. You don't want them showing up into a losing culture and locker room and falling into those bad habits thinking this is just the way it is. You become Buffalo at that point.BluesSK wrote: Sat Nov 08, 2025 9:59 amWelp...
