I sure hope the Blues have talked to San Jose about trading them Stenberg's brother. I mean I don't see how you don't do that just to see what they'd be willing to give. There's gotta be some interest there.

Am I the only one uncomfortable about the Blues RW depth? Who's number 2 behind Snuggerud? We really can use a guy that can play RW, shoot, hit and score. Big void on the 2nd line. I hope the Blues aren't done making moves.

I've thought about that. My initial take is he's done with St. Louis, but with Steener as the GM, I guess that might change things now.

I'd be fine with that. He played extremely well for Minnesota in that 2nd half of the season.

Totally. He fits the bill, he's a big boy who can play along the boards, complements a line well. Still has that patented shot of his and can help our PP.
He would be a good fill in till Carbonneau gets up to speed. There's really nothing left out there unless they swing a trade.

Maybe he does, but he's not my RW on the 2nd line. We need a guy with some muscle that can score.

I don't think he starts the season with the Blues but as we get later into the season, the hope has to be that Carbo starts to work his way toward 2nd line RW.

Dom is not very impressed with the Blues offseason. Preds were ranked #1. Caps 3rd.

Kyrou is a legit needle-mover; the other two currently look a lot closer to average. “Currently” is the key word there. It wouldn’t be a shock to see both improve within a new context. For now, though, the Blues do look worse off.

eh, he's had one bad season in his last 5. Maybe he's just a 40 point guy now, but I'd bank on him getting back closer to the 60-70+ point guy he's always been. Especially since he'll be surrounded by more talent and not out there with Buchnevich and Neighbours/Suter like he was the second half of last season.

Yeah, a little bit higher than what I thought it'd be. But the guy has a lot of potential, especially coming here and getting a larger role to play in. So in the end this could be a bargain.

I'm afraid the pundits and fans will unfairly judge him against Kyrou's stats like they (and I) did with Mailloux/Bolduc. The only caveat this time, is I know what McMichael can do. I've watched him for the past 4 seasons he played with Washington. (22-23 he went back to the minors so I didn't get to see much of him that year) and this kid is going to turn heads.

If you beat him to the puck in the corner, he's going to punish you. He goes to the front of the net. Deceptive wrist shot.

Will he out-do Kyrou? Probably not, and he isn't expected to, but I fear there's gonna be a lot of crying bc "we traded Kyrou for this" when TC said it best...there's more to hockey than just scoring points

You may actually get what you want, doesn't sound official but seems thats the route they may be going.
